Although Emma's actual bday is today...the 28th, we had her party last Saturday! It turned out very well if I do say so myself! We actually got a decent family pic even with Emma's eyes closed! The bday girl with her tutu and "Birthday Girl" shirt that Aubrie wore for her 2nd bday as well!
Excuse the fact that some pics are big and some small. I copied some from my friend Molly's Facebook so that is why....Poppy taking E for a ride!Happy girl! Thanks to Tammy for allowing us to use the Kiddie Kollege riding toys for entertainment! Some special friends were there...
AddisonAnna ClaireRidgeMasonAnd special family as well! Doesn't Poppy look excited to be there? The Mimi...not sure what she was looking at???Cousins Colby, Melissa, and baby LeightonMiss Leighton...hopefully Emma and her will be very close growing up....I always wished for a girl cousin that was close to my age. They are 8 months apart.Cousin Julia with AubrieCousin Kira with KaitlynMy precious grandparents....AKA Toots & Pop! So blessed that they are still in good health and can attend the birthday parties of their 5 great granddaughters!Pop....turned 87 this week! Grand Molly...nice tonsils!I asked Grand Molly to read some stories to the kids since she is the most animated person I know! She was happy to oblige and the kids loved it!!! Thanks again, sweet friend! Listening intently to the story! Her party had a "storybook" theme since she has been absolutely IN LOVE with books since she could sit up! Books over toys ANY day for her!Ridge and Mason enjoying the story....I had to go to a Leadership retreat the night before the party and got in town just a couple of hours before it started! Michael and Aubrie made cupcakes and brownies and had a great time! I did manage to make the little cupcake toppers that were little pictures of famous children's book covers! You may be able to click on the small pics to see the detail! We got Emma a little cake of her own so that she could have candles to blow out! That's about all she did since she doesn't care for sweets at all. I can't tell you the last time she would try an cake, cookie, or candy....no complaints from Mommy though!Julia and Mason eating up those cupcakes! Atleast someone enjoyed them!Chocolate-faced Ridge and his mommy Amy!It's a hard life, huh baby boy!She did enjoy the Sugar Free Kool-aid very much!Present time! She got like 25 new books, along with some very cute outfits and puzzles! See how she just lights up when she has a book in her hand!Mimi and EmmaSomehow the pic of the Elmo outfit got lost in the shuffle of posting pics on here. It is so cute. She made the hat too that you see in this pic. Emma won't wear it for even a second. I warned Mimi of this too! But isn't it cute?!Poppy was happy to model it!We always try and get a pic of Mimi with all 3 girls at every bday party. Two weren't interested as you can see. I will admit that my two look VERY much alike in this picture! Same expression exactly! I don't see them looking that much alike very much! Thanks to my sweet hubby and daddy for getting everything set up for the party so that I could go to the retreat! Mimi helped tremendously too! What would I do without my sweet family?!
